The Way to Throw a Great Kids Party

At a childrens party the goal is to keep everyone happily entertained, and this is easily achieved with cookie decorating. Let this be the theme of your event, and you will be thrilled at the response you receive. Plus, in the scheme of kiddie parties, this is one of the easiest to pull off.

Prepare an estimated four to five cookies for each little guest to decorate. Make certain that the designated work area is set and ready to go before their arrival. Cover the tabletops with butchers paper, and then lay out all of the items for the children to decorate with. Place sprinkles, and miniature candies in several colours in little containers across the tables. To make it a breeze for them to manipulate the icing, put it in squeeze bottles. Also, display a few pre-decorated cookies in the centre of the tables as inspiration for the activity. This way, you get to decorate cookies too.

Of the utmost importance is to give each guest an extra cookie or two to eat while they work, along with a glass of milk. Otherwise, you will be fighting a loosing battle of trying to keep them from eating those intended for decoration. Then, at the end, after the decorations have had time to dry, pack them up for the little ones to take home and share with mom and dad.
